A Message from our Principal

Welcome to Carlisle-Foster’s Grove Elementary School!

It is a true honor to have the opportunity to serve as principal of Carlisle-Foster’s Grove Elementary. As an educator who has spent nearly half of my career at Carlisle-Foster’s Grove, I know firsthand how dedicated the school is to student success, and it is a privilege to continue the excellence of CFG. This wonderful school, that I am proud to call home, has invested in my growth as a leader, and for that I am forever grateful.

I have been blessed to be a part of the D2 family for 15 years as a teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal, and district team member. I served as the assistant principal at Carlisle-Foster’s Grove from 2017-2021 before joining the District Administrative Team as the Coordinator of Staff Development, Math, and Science. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of South Carolina and a Master of Education in Administration and Supervision Degree from Converse University.

My husband, Corey, and I have two wonderful children, Mattison and Flynn. We love going to the beach, being outdoors, and cheering for the Gamecocks!

Building strong relationships with families is key to the success of CFG. I am excited to work alongside each of you to ensure the success of every student. Thank you for entrusting us with your children as we prepare them to be lifelong learners that are valued, supported, and challenged. Our goal is for all students to feel loved and safe when they enter the doors of CFG.
